TR Organic Agriculture Certification

The rules for organic production and control and certification in Turkey are set out in the Organic Agriculture Law No. 5262 and the Regulation No. 27676 on the Principles and Implementation of Organic Agriculture (see Standards for details). This Regulation is applicable and mandatory for all stages of the organic marketing of locally produced and imported products in Turkey, from the field to the point of sale to the final consumer. Accordingly, all economic operators operating in this chain must be certified under the relevant regulation.
