COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 889/2008

It defines in detail the specific rules on organic production, labeling and control of all products mentioned in EC regulation 834/2007 mentioned above. While Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 provides the basic rules and standards, EU Commission Regulation 889/2008 is more detailed. 889/2008 is also referred to as the “Implementing Regulation”.
