Fair Wild
Certification according to the FairWild standard confirms that products are produced and marketed in accordance with FairWild criteria regarding sustainable harvesting, social responsibility and fair trade principles.
Respecting traditions and cultures and supporting the livelihoods of all stakeholders, especially collectors and workers, are also important components.
The FairWild Standard evaluates the harvest and trade of wild plants and mushrooms according to various ecological, social and economic requirements. The use helps support efforts to ensure that resources are managed, harvested and traded sustainably and benefits rural producers.
Mithracert Control and Certification Co. Ltd. is the first and only inspection organization based in Turkey to be accredited by the FairWild Foundation in Turkey in 2025.
